This event included projection mapping on 3D objects creating combination of led screens and motion sensors. The exhibition was controlled through an interactive panel from multiple mobile devices. We were asked to present a new version of Dataton’s media server – WATCHPAX4. The instalation proved very successful which was evidenced by the number of visitors who engaged in interaction with the booth.
We also presented a new version of Watchout 6, focusing on its ability to combine multimedia systems. The show content included natural environment elements and landscape scenes in 4 different seasons. All the scenography features as the bear or the mountains were designed and produced particularly for the exhibition purposes.
A TOP-DOWN APPROACH
The booth design was meant to attract attention and engage the audience. The staff would get visitors involved in directing the animations, sound and lighting with iPads. Designed to be modular and reusable, the booth parts can travel the world separately as individual shows fitting an array of different spaces and in several combinations
For those interested in details of how it is done, we created a demo station with a miniature show. In this way Dataton team could present the basics of Watchout 6 and its innovative techniques of projection mapping. For the most experienced users we presented the full project, demonstrating how it was put together in Watchout 6 from scratch.
